As the president of National Kaohsiung Hospitality College（NKHC）, it is both my duty and pleasure to advance my vision for the school. In particular, I have striven to do the following:

Utilize the humanistic features imbedded in “Taiwan Mainstream Culture”

Cultivate a humanistic spirit of assiduity and generosity on campus

Integrate professionalism, entrepreneurship , and an international perspective into teaching in order to enhance global competitive ability
NKHC has established very close partnership with the hospitality fields ever since its founding in 1995. Accordingly, NKHC has always been aware of the needs of the business & industrial fields. To meet these demands, NKHC emphasizes and strengthens students’ professional training in its curriculum design. By integrating learning with daily life, the school promotes and expands the student’s practical skills. In addition, NKHC has spared no effort in establishing international collaboration among schools through overseas internships so as to implement the student’s professional skills learned at school. As a result, NKHC has won wide acclaim for its well-developed faculty structure, innovative curriculum design, enhancement of students’ foreign language proficiency, and development of students’ professional skills.
It is the school policy to support students in becoming outstanding in their careers. However, practical skills are not sufficient when confronting the many challenges they have to face in the times to come. They should also develop creativity and innovative ideas in their professional training courses. Above all, students should not only have the ability to response to the need of the industries, but also be able to anticipate future trends.
Striving for greater excellence is of the utmost importance at NKHC. For years, NKHC has welcomed reforms in order to create a new vision. I believe very strongly in these words: "Where there is vision, there is a way; where there is inspiration, there is a future." The future belongs to those who have dreams and the motivation to make their dreams come true. It is my sincere belief that NKHC will do whatever it can to educate and support its students in their professional and life endeavors.
